Dr. Cheryl Brown, Melissa Fiori, Milton Jordan, "Lasky," Devon Morrison, Ahsley Pohl, Tiffany Rahenkamp and I are traveling to Iqmiquilpan, Mexico (north of Mexico City) from March 2-9, 2011. We will be accompanied by Dr. Donald Gregory (Prof. of Sociology, Reinhardt University), and Ascary Arias (GC '05 and our fearless guide/leader!).
This is not a Spring Break trip to Acapulco, folks! :)
We will be distributing eggs and milk to families, school supplies to children, etc. The students have worked tirelessly over the last year to raise funds for the projects that we will complete there. I am so very proud of them!
We are not sure how frequently we will make it to the local internet cafe to post, but I will do my best.
